How to Setup Your Client Portal

We will send a portal invite to your email for your to upload and securely exchange files with the firm.

Key Steps

  1. Client Portal Invitation

    • Check your inbox for our email invitation to setup your client portal.

    • The email will come from notifications@accountingintelligence.clientportal.canopytax.com.

    • Please make sure to check their spam/junk folder if you do not see the email in your inbox.

  2. Client Portal Account Creation

    • Click on the link in the email to create their account.

    • Fill out the form and create a secure password.

    • Enable 2 factor authentication and confirm you can successfully log into the portal.

  3. Navigating the Client Portal

    • Below is an overview of the portal's home page layout:

      • Home Page: Displays any outstanding invoices and tasks assigned to the client.

      • Files Section: Area for clients to upload required documents and for Accounting Intelligence to upload completed work.

      • Billing Section: Displays outstanding invoices and allows for payment.

      • Schedule & Employment Section: Clients can book meetings based on availability.

      • Communication: For inquires and support issues email our team at clientservices@accountingintelligence.net.

  4. Managing Multiple Businesses

    • If you have multiple businesses you can access the other entites by switching accounts by clicking your profile initial in the bottom right corner of the portal.

    • Click on the respective business name to view specific tasks and files.
